Every Friday at Double Vision Academy begins with our whole-school Values Assembly. This week's theme was integrity — specifically, integrity in small things.
Our Director shared a simple but powerful illustration: a small crack in a dam, left unrepaired, eventually causes the whole structure to fail. In the same way, small compromises in honesty, effort and kindness — left unchallenged — shape a character that no one wants to become.
Learners were then invited to share one 'small thing' they commit to doing with integrity this coming week. The responses were moving: returning a borrowed pencil, telling the truth even when it's embarrassing, submitting homework on time even when no one will notice.
This is the DVA difference — building character one assembly at a time.
